Nov 28 2021 Calforex Cup #2 morning

The Calforex Cup #2 was held at the Canmore Nordic Centre on November 27 & 28. I made it for the second day's morning and afternoon races. It was a challenging day on the course for the competitors as it rained almost the entire time.

I tried to get a good photo of every athlete but I did not manage to do that. However, I do have some other good photos that I did not post. If you are looking for photos of a particular individual, contact me at and I will see what else I have.

Nov 7 & 10 2021 Biathlon & XC Skiing

Here is a collection of photos taken on November 7 and 10, 2021 at the Canmore Nordic Centre nestled in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. The biathlon action was a training session and the cross country skiing was the men's and women's Frozen Thunder Skate Time Trial.

Canadian Elite Basketball League

The Canadian Elite Basketball League - the CEBL - is a professional men's basketball league that began play in 2019. Its focus is to develop and showcase Canadian basketball talent and it requires that at least 70% of each team's roster consists of Canadian players.

"The CEBL provides home-grown athletes an exclusive opportunity to represent their communities and further their careers as professional basketball players. It provides fans with edge-of-your-seat excitement through a high-caliber basketball experience in a family-friendly entertainment environment." (

I have only been able to get to one game so far (the closest team is 400 km away) but the trip was well worth it. All of these photos are from the very exciting August 6 2021 game where  the hometown Edmonton Stingers beat the Fraser Valley Bandits 88-87.
